Sunday Igboho had earlier demanded for the immediate arrest of suspected terrorists that killed two traditional rulers in Ekiti State.

Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, has told his supporters and loyalists not to wait for the government’s intervention before taking steps to fight the Fulani herders who are denying local farmers from accessing their farmlands in the South-West region.

Igboho who said this while addressing crowd in a video seen by SaharaReporters on X claimed that the people of South-West should unite to create a region security workforce that protect them from incessant Fulani herders attack on their farmlands.

He said, “This is our domain. We should save ourselves from Fulani. We should put security in all Yoruba land, We did not need to wait for anybody including the government. If we really mean business, we should not wiat for government or else Fulani will carry all our lands, We should be united. Which farms do we have again in Yoruba land? Can we go to farm now?

“They killed our traditional rulers in Ekiti and they brought soldiers, During Buhari Government, he gave Boko Haram 5000 Amnesty to enter the bush and keep doing what they like and these are set of soldiers they brought to Ekiti, we don’t need them.We Yoruba, if we do what we supposed to do, Fulani we leave our lands and we will be able to get our farms back. It is after we recover our farms land from Fulani that we will know the next step. Those saying I am working for politicians are.”

Sunday Igboho had earlier demanded for the immediate arrest of suspected terrorists that killed two traditional rulers in Ekiti State.

Igboho had said this in a press statement issued through his lawyer, Pelumi Olanjengbesi and urged the Nigerian government to intensify their efforts towards possible apprehension of the criminals and ensure they were prosecuted for their grievous offence.
