Nigerian carrier, Air Peace has raised the alarm that fraudsters are cloning its website to dupe customers.

The airline, which recently launched Lagos to United Kingdom (UK) direct flight, raised the warning in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

According to Air Peace, the creators of the website used some of its website identity collaterals to create the fake site, which they presented as the airlineā€™s official booking platform.

It noted that some passengers intending to book UK flights on its portal were defrauded by fraudsters who cloned its official website.

It reads: ā€œOur attention has been drawn to the existence of a website ā€œwww.flyairpeace.ukā€ purporting to be an official website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

ā€œWe would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us. The one and only website of the Air Peace remains ā€œwww.flyairpeace.com.

ā€œMembers of the public should totally ignore the site, as it is impersonating Air Peace and fleecing passengers.ā€
