The President subsequently approved the appointment of a new board and management of the NDDC.
Tinubu appointed a new board headed by Chiedu Ebie from Delta State as the chairman.
This is contained in a statement issued by the presidentâs media aide Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday which said the appointment of the new board and management took immediate effect.
The appointees are Chiedu Ebie (chairman âDelta), Samuel Ogbuku (managing director/CEO âBayelsa), Boma Iyaye (executive director; finance and admin âRivers), Victor Antai (executive director, projects â Akwa-Ibom), Ifedayo Abegunde (executive director; corporate services â Ondo), and Dimaro Denyanbofa (state representative âBayelsa).
Abasi Nkono (state representative â Akwa Ibom), Monday Igbuya (state representative âDelta), Tony Okocha (state representative â Rivers), Patrick Aisowieren (state representative â Edo), Kyrian Uchegbu (state representative âImo), Victor Kolade Akinjo (state representative âOndo), Dimgba Eruba (state representative âAbia) and Asu Oku Okang (state representative âCross River) are others.
The three zonal members of the board are Nick Wende (zonal representative, North-Central), Namdas Abdulrazak (zonal representative, North-East, and Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir (zonal representative, North-West).
âThe president expects that the new board and management team will ensure a new era of successful administration in the NDDC, in line with his Renewed Hope agenda,â the statement said.
