The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State has accused members of the opposition Party of rascality by invading the State Police Headquarters last Sunday to destroy any evidence that is likely to influence the outcome of their investigation. Alh. Abu Dantabawa and 17 members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) were arrested for meeting with some leaders of the repentant bandits, with plans to disrupt the peace in the State.
C.P Usman Nagogo made the accusations at a press briefing held at the state Police Command, Gusau and he further said, Police and other security Agencies in the state have started “Carrot and Stick approach” in handling the protracted security issues in the state.
