A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, on Wednesday, ordered that Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, be held in police custody.
The Lagos State Police Command requested a 30-day detention for Fashola and the other individuals involved. Nevertheless, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun decided to detain Fashola and the others for a shorter period, specifically 21 days.
Both individuals have become subjects of investigation regarding the demise of Mohbad, who tragically passed away on September 12. On September 29, Sam Larry was taken into custody, and the Lagos police, on Tuesday, disclosed that Naira Marley was also detained for questioning.
In the meantime, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, had announced a search for Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy. This action is a result of his refusal to respond to an invitation concerning the demise of Mohbad.
The authorities also announced a prize of N1 million for anyone who could provide valuable information that might result in his apprehension.
