Live from Kingston, Jamaica – #JamaicaDebates2020, Election Debate on Leadership

Tonight, The Electorate get to hear from the Leaders of the two two leading Political parties in Jamaica.

Dr. Peter Philips (MP), Leader of the Opposition have to convince the people of Jamaica on why his party, People’s National Party (PNP) should be voted on September 3, 2020.

The leader of the governing Party and Prime Minister, Andrew Holness will have outline points on how his party, Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) will lead the people of Jamaica if voted to form the next Government.

A Party needs to have most seats in parliament to form the next Government. There are 63 Parliamentary Seats in Jamaica.

Recall, the People’s National Party won three consecutive elections in 1993, 1997 and 2002, before it was defeated in 2007 by the Jamaica Labour Party.

Since 2011, the governing Party has always lost to the Opposition Party.
