BUFFON TO COMPLETE PSG MOVE
Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will undergo his Paris Saint-Germain medical on Friday, L’Equipe reports.

His move to the club will be made official on Monday, when he is presented to the media.
Buffon, 40, is a free agent after leaving Juventus at the end of June, when his contract expired.

MAN UTD LOOK TO STEAL RONALDO DEAL
Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is looking at what it would take to outbid Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo, reports the Sun.

The Red Devils have long been rumoured to want a reunion with the Portugal star and believe his move to Juventus is not a done deal, despite Ronaldo having agreed a deal with the Serie A champions .

While the club also remains interested in Gareth Bale and Willian, they have privately conceded they won’t be able to land the Wales international and they are not prepared to match Chelsea’s £70 million ($93m) demand for the Brazil international.
United hope to exploit the relationship with Jose Mendes, Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho’s agent, to facilitate a deal.

LIVERPOOL INQUIRE ABOUT DYBALA
Liverpool have checked in on the availability of Paulo Dybala, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Reds are hoping Dybala becomes available if Cristiano Ronaldo does complete a move to Juventus, and are ready to make a bid.
However, there’s a possibility Dybala could be used as part of the Ronaldo move.

LIVERPOOL YET TO MAKE SHAQIRI OFFER
Liverpool retain interest in Xherdan Shaqiri but have yet to make an offer for the midfielder, reports the Liverpool Echo .

The Stoke City man has a £13.5 million ($18m) clause in his contract which allows him to leave the relegated Potters.

Shaqiri had been on World Cup duty with Switzerland, but with their elimination, the club must now decide whether or not to make an offer for the midfielder.

WILSHERE SET FOR WEST HAM MEDICAL
Jack Wilshere is set to have a medical ahead of a possible move to West Ham.

The former Arsenal midfielder has become a target for the Hammers at the behest of new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
However, Wilshere will need to pass an exhaustive medical to give West Ham greater assurances of his health before any deal is signed.

BARCELONA TO MAKE NEW WILLIAN BID
Barcelona are preparing a new bid for Chelsea winger Willian after having a €57 million (£50m/$66m) offer rebuffed, reports the Daily Mail .

Barca boss Ernesto Valverde wants to bring in more depth to his attack, while Willian is preferred thanks to a desire to link him up with international team-mate Philippe Coutinho.

Highly rated teenager Ryan Sessegnon is nearing a deal to extend his time with Fulham, reports the Daily Mail .

The 18-year-old winger has been linked with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and other giants after a stellar season in the Championship.
But he appears set to follow Fulham captain Tom Cairney, who signed a five-year contract, in committing to the newly promoted Premier League side.

SPURS WIN GREALISH RACE
Tottenham have won the race to sign Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish after Liverpool failed to bid, reports the Mirror .

The 22-year-old midfielder is with the Championship club’s pre-season camp in Portugal but is expected to join up with Spurs for the Premier League season.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is waiting to make a bid, however, in hopes to further exploit Aston Villa’s cash problems.

BRIGHTON SIGN BERNARDO FROM LEIPZIG
Brighton and Hove Albion completed the signing of RB Leipzig defender Bernardo for a reported fee of £9 million (€10.1m).

The 23-year-old Brazilian made 49 appearances for Leipzig after leaving Red Bull Salzburg in 2016, representing the German side in the Champions League and Europa League last season.
He becomes the club’s fourth signing ahead of the 2018-19 campaign with Chris Hughton already strengthening his hand with the arrivals of Jason Steele, Florin Andone and Leon Balogun.

WATFORD ADD FOSTER AND SEMA
Watford completed the signing of Ben Foster from West Brom on a two-year deal while also adding Sweden international Ken Sema.

The 35-year-old Foster is well known to the Vicarage Road faithful after spending two consecutive seasons on loan with the Hornets from Manchester United during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 campaigns.
Sema, who joins on a five-year contract, made headlines last season when he scored the winning goal in Ostersunds’ shock 2-1 Europa League win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

SOUTHGATE TO REMAIN ENGLAND BOSS FOR 2022 WC
England head coach Gareth Southgate is set to continue in the role through the 2022 World Cup, provided he can qualify for the 2020 Euros, reports the Telegraph .

Southgate has overseen an England squad that won a World Cup penalty shootout for the first time in their history to advance to the quarter-finals against Sweden.
While his current deal would expire in 2020, the Football Association will trigger an extension that takes him to 2022 if he qualifies for the next European Championship, regardless of England’s performances at the tournament..

MARSCH DEEP IN TALKS TO JOIN RB LEIPZIG
New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch is in talks to join RB Leipzig for the upcoming season, reports the Athletic .

Marsch is in contention to become the Bundesliga club’s interim head coach for the 2018-19 season before Julian Nagelsmann takes over from Hoffenheim in 2019-20.
If Marsch does depart, and he would need to work out assurances of his future with the Red Bull organization beyond this current season, Chris Armas would take over with New York.

LINGARD TO RECEIVE NEW MAN UTD DEAL
Manchester United are ready to give midfielder Jesse Lingard a new contract, reports the Sun .

The England international signed a new contract just over a year ago, but United are concerned what interest he may draw if he shines for the Three Lions.
United may be willing to double his wages in order to ensure he remains at Old Trafford.

EVERTON REJECT RB LEIPZIG’S LOOKMAN BID
Everton have rejected a bid of around €14 million (£12m/$16m) from RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman, reports the Mirror .

Lookman impressed on loan with the Bundesliga club last season and the club is deciding whether to make an improved offer.
While Lookman wants to make the move, Marco Silva and Everton are reluctant to allow him to leave.
