Aston Villa have made a bid to bring in Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn on loan, reports the Telegraph.

Klopp rates the 18-year-old midfielder, but thinks a season in the Championship would be beneficial to his development.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah is determined to remain at Manchester United and help the Premier League club through their injury woes.

The three-time Netherlands international helped form an inexperienced defence alongside Axel Tuanzebe, Matteo Darmian and Bailly in a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Despite the setback, Fosu-Mensah hopes to avoid another loan and reinforce a defence that has been hit hard by injuries and players recovering from the 2018 World Cup.
